When do you think we will find out?

I think if it was going to cancel they would have already. Delayed? Likely. Most of the flights that aren't cancelled out of Orlando will be oversold due to the weather yesterday and other cancelled flights today

Your plane is coming from baltimore and should be leaving shortly, sits at MCO until your flight.

Just checked. We are delayed from 9:40 pm to 11:40. This is going to be a disaster.

They are forecasting severe weather rolling through DFW in the early evening tonight (Sunday). That won’t help the Southwest situation.

So in looking at inbound flights, my guess is southwest has a crew for your flight, but they will be requiring this crew to come in from a flight that usually ends at orlando for the night. Now, that crew will have to work another leg for your flight.

I flew out msy on southwest yesterday to Columbus, Ohio. No issues. Maybe I just missed all the cancellations.

Yes you did, got lucky! Even today I'm looking at random flight pairings and there's cancellations all over the place. PHX-SEA, SEA-DEN, MSY-DAL, MDW-HOU, etc.

It has nothing to do with vaccinations or walkouts. I know you want this to be the case but it's just not.

That means any further delays and that crew has a good chance of timing out for the day.

At what point do I have to spend the night in a hotel and catch the next flight?

Looking at Southwest's issues I would be looking to another airline

Other airlines are cancelling flights, but maybe Southwest is just running that many more flights.
