Drove through that cell when you did. Was going east on 12. Was nasty but I still did 60. Clear after I got above tickfaw.

So I don't think things went bust today. It was still pretty active with several warnings. However things didn't really seem to materialize as anticipated with the long tracks in that central LA to Mississippi MDT corridor. There were a bunch of prefrontal cells in the cental LA area around noon that never really got charged up and then the qlcs eventually caught up to them.

I think he’s just young. We also haven’t had a lot of severe weather this year, so he’s probably pretty new at doing live severe weather coverage.

Wish i had an Anemometer for the house. Will have to check how much $ does a nice one Co$t?

Curious with tonight ; Francine ; Ida ; and the intense Hail Storm 1st Saturday last August. And those Spring Bow Echo's....
