No, don't think a whole house-cleaning is the right cure but Musk does seem to use that as a strategy.
Also, the general public needs to give them the leeway to make mistakes They aren't going to get it right every time. This fear of being wrong tends to make them give out blanket warnings....but that also leads to crying wolf and people stop paying attention then.

Every. Single. One. And 99.9% of the time he doesn't have a clue what it is he is bitching about.

My weather radio just went off and scared the shite out of me. Tornado watch.

I thought I programed it not to alert on watches. Oh well.

Tornado watch is the only watch I programmed mine for.
I think the only others are tornado warning and thunderstorms warning.
And only the county I live in. I used to program adjacent counties, but they became too numerous and often unrelated to my area.

That's a nasty, twisting segment of the line just south of Tupelo. Definitely keep an eye on it to try to produce a tornado.

ETA: And, of course we have a tornado warning with the couplet head towards the Jackson radar.

That bit of line is now warned near Nettleton and Amory. Looks like it could produce a tor going into Shannon.

There’s definitely a suspicious spot coming up on Nettleton. It’s warned.

I hope he finds a good landing spot after they laid him off, and I hope it is in the southeast. He's a good one.

I think it did some damage just to the south of Shannon.

That is great news. Legitimately, I'm glad to hear it.

A lot of advertisers made it known on social media that they would no longer buy ads on WTVA if Allen Media eliminated the local weather staff. I think that made Allen change their mind.
