I see NWS Memphis is doing NWS Memphis things warning the whole line per usual

Musk needs to gut the branches of the NWS that do this. Just lazy CYA government lemmings.

SATURDAY NIGHT UPDATE: The line of thunderstorms will enter the northwest corner of Alabama around 10pm... it will move through the state quickly overnight.

*The main concern remains strong, potentially damaging straight line winds. With the excessive rain we received earlier this week, the ground is saturated and a number of trees could come down tonight.

*A few isolated tornadoes are possible, especially over Southwest Alabama.

*Gradient winds (not related to thunderstorms) ahead of the line could gust to 30-40 mph in spots; a wind advisory is in effect.

*The line will move quickly, rain amounts should be one inch or less for most places, and major flooding issues are not expected.

*Much of the state is in an "enhanced risk" (level 3/5) due to the wind potential.

Be sure and have a reliable way of hearing severe weather warnings tonight if they are needed!

That's a good post by Spann. The expansion of the Enhanced area is wind-driven. Gonna be one of those where a Severe Thunderstorm Warning should get treated like a tornado warning. It shouldn't take long when it gets here, but it'll blow pretty good.

good grief man, it was just a lame short person joke. I didn't even know for sure you were little.--only suspected based on post history. I don't even care. No one cares. Only people that seem to care are the short people themselves.

let it go

They started creeping it eastward yesterday, especially along the coast

This has been nothing more than regular thunderstorms

Not deserving of an enhanced risk. Guess they had to warn a few bullshite cells to justify it

If you let it bother you then people will continue to rib you about it. STop letting get to you and people will stop caring.

Its like being picking on a sibling doesn't fight back. Just gets boring after a while.

As an aside, I genuinely hope you are not affected by the recent Gov cuts. I don't wish losing a job on anyone. I was out of work for 6mo after the 2008 housing crisis and it was one of the lowest points in my life.

I still don't know where you're coming from with this. I said, "frick you" because you are an ignorant dumb arse. There's nothing more to it.

I don’t think getting rid of Memphis completely is the fix but cleaning house and getting people in that want to actually do their job would help

Alright, I'm done with cluttering up a severe weather thread. Hopefully you are too.

(fwiw, your continued over-the-top aggression isn't helping shake short man stereotype.)
