Ugh. What time are we thinking Little Rock is seeing the yuckiest stuff? My radar shows 4-6. During my unpaid uber parental chauffeuring hours.

Yuck. Looks like it’s going to be an interesting day at work and at the house.

Im afraid some people may get severe weather fatigue and not take these threats seriously...

I sure hope not… even those that have gotten through with no damage so far need to keep a close eye on what’s
Still ahead. If it didn’t get you the other day it could get you the next couple days.

So how’s the flooding looking? That was hyped as a 100 year event and haven’t heard much on it so far

It's supposed to really get going in the Ozarks later this evening. The Buffalo is projected to go from 15 ft around 7PM tonight to 48+ feet by 7PM tomorrow.

It’s warmed up almost 20 degrees within the last hour once the fog lifted.
I’m at the gas station at the moment where the tornado in 2023 hit behind.

Hey buddy. Correct me if I’m wrong but it seems it’s been many years since we have seen this amount of storm after storm passing through the same general area. That high pressure setting still in the mid south is stalling this front from moving on. Looks like another three days before these poor folks will get a break.

That's terrible.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The search for a child reported missing in Frankfort early Friday morning came to a tragic end when the boy was found dead.
The Franklin County Coroner's Office has identified the victim as 9-year-old Gabriel Andrews, according to a news release. He was a student in the Franklin County Schools district.
The search began after 911 operators got a call around 6:30 a.m. about a young boy caught in floodwaters in the area of Hickory Hills, while he was walking to a school bus stop. Police, fire and EMS crews conducted an an extensive search and recovered his body about half-a-mile from where he was last seen around 8:45 a.m.
Andrews was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the coroner's report.

We've been really lucky this week that most of the school districts in the state were out for Spring Break.
I want to point to that article when the bUt wHy ArE tHeY cAnCeLlInG sChOoL bunch gets started. That's WHY we don't have school in those areas when these kind of things happen.
I'd be interested in seeing why Franklin didn't close. There's been a lot of debate in this legislative session about NTI days and the state limiting their usage despite multiple bouts of historic flooding out in the state.

They put up the 2nd street bridge floodgates earlier today here in Louisville. NOAA has upped their crest prediction to over 33.5 feet which would be a Top 11 cresting event at this point for us. Last time the 2nd street gate went up was 2018.
