People have become so fricking god awful at driving since the pandemic I wouldn't be opposed to everyone having to retake their driving test every 10 or so years.

One thing is certain, and there is (unfortunately for you) only one way to avoid it.
You will, inevitably, become an elderly person, just like those you currently despise so much, and those younger than you will bitch constantly about your mere existence.
It will become a constant drum beat. You will gradually tire of it, and you will slowly, but inexorably, grow to regret your impetuous tantrums about “old people.”
It’s a story as old as the human race, and you are too naive to realize it at this point of your life.
You will, inevitably, become an elderly person, just like those you currently despise so much, and those younger than you will bitch constantly about your mere existence.

Nah, I'm old, but a lot of old people don't consider themselves that way. I wave my fist at the "Snowtops" who drive too slow. It's never me, it's the other old fart.
