I'm almost 77, my wife is 76, this week I'm going to test drive a Tesla model Y, intend on paying $100 a month for self driving. My skills are still pretty good, but my neck is fused, so my mobility is limited, I have to plan my routes. That's why my car barely gets 3K miles annually.

My wife's skills have never been great, she has never had a serious accident, but several minor ones that are a red flag. Now is the time to get the steering wheel out of her hands, before she hurts herself or someone else.

I've never been at fault in an accident, about 10 years ago I was rear ended at a stoplight, before that was in 1973. If I never drive again, I won't miss it a bit.

Get more snowtops taking Ubers.

The same rule should apply to politicians that applies to commercial airline pilots: Mandatory retirement at 65.

An elderly man in my neighborhood was backing out of his driveway yesterday. Never looked back to check for traffic. He just went for it. I had to slam my brakes to avoid hitting him.

We had an 90 yo here hit a walker and kill her. They found the driver at the grocery confused and hadn’t realized she had run over anyone. She ended up getting charged with manslaughter

My grandpa is nearing 90, he still drives when he needs to, but doesn't drive for much other than doctors appointments or if he wants to go to a grandkids game and no one is around to take him with them. That being said, regardless of what road he is on or the speed limit of said road, he never goes above 55.
