Even funnier is that neither would exist without the Jews, but they're still all going to burn in hell, amirite?

The Jews are blinded despite the Old Testament having Christ all over it (One example is isaigh 53) But they will come back in the end.

What I don't understand about Catholics is they try and add things to salvation when the scripture is clear. "By grace are you saved through faith; not of works lest any man should boast."

I am Catholic too and I have never understood the insecurity that Baptists and Pentecostals have in regards to Catholics. They always have some smarted comment when they find out your Catholic. Where as Catholics could care one way or another what you are.

Because, a lot of Baptists think Catholics aren't Christain.
They probably went to a Catholic Parish Fair and just assumed that the Beer Trucks, Roulette Wheels and dice tables were un Christ-like.

Thank God. Catholics are infinitely more fun to be around than Baptists.

LP has one of the best Catholic Churches in immaculate conception. I believe it to be the biggest too.

Shifty land, settled late by poor white Americans, mostly of Brit/Scot descent. Protestants.

Most of the English churches are Anglican, not Protestant.

If you truly believe in God, It doesn't matter......Its amazing how God created the human body and how the abilities it has... The functions of the body are amazing and its possibilities are endless... True faith is all you need.....

It is very hard to see how they got their "religion" from the Holy Bible.

Where do you think the bible came from?

Everyone so jelly of LP. It's understandable. BR is such a shithole no one REALLY wants to live there. South Baton Rouge is breathing all the chemical plants healthy air, north Baton Rouge is well....north Baton Rouge no explanation needed. Across the river is Port Allen and we know what a joke that is.
LP has all the meth you want but doesn't have the chemical plants, thug crime, and dipshit mayors. It's the white flight refuge that many in Baton Rouge would love to enjoy but they owe more on their mortgage than their home is worth. Poor suckers.

As other poster mentioned LP has immaculate conception church. It is heavy with Baptist and not sure why as drinking is "popular". Of course most baptist drink anyway damn hypocrites.

That's God with a capital "G".

Any other god is a false god.

Other than that, you are correct.

The average country or southern baptist or Pentecost is stunningly ignorant about Christian history. You'd be amazed.
For example, my gramma (baptist) didn't know anything about Martin Luther or the reformation, she always assumed baptist was the original religion. My ex-gf, baptist, thought I was loony when I mentioned the book of Maccabees and swore to me that the Bible has never been changed or altered in any way, ever. Never occurred to her it wasn't written in English, I guess.

That's what being a Protestant's all about. That's why it's the church for me. That's why it's the church for anyone who respects the individual and the individual's right to decide for him or herself. When Martin Luther nailed his protest up to the church door in fifteen- seventeen, he may not have realised the full significance of what he was doing, but four hundred years later, thanks to him, my dear, I can wear whatever I want on my John Thomas,... [sniff] ...and, Protestantism doesn't stop at the simple condom! Oh, no! I can wear French Ticklers if I want.
