South Carolina moves closer to allowing death by firing squad

Think I’d rather go by firing squad than the electric chair.

Public hangings is the only way to properly execute someone. It is a shame we let that die off

Lethal injection sucks and is probably the worst way to do it

The best way would be to get shot in the head while sleeping.

Now if they allow the public to buy tickets....

I know you're joking, but the shortage is because suppliers are refusing to sell the drugs out of opposition to the death penalty, or because anti-capital punishment activists are harassing and threatening them. You have a good idea, though. Who could argue that overdosing a prisoner on heroin or fentanyl is cruel or inhumane? They go out feeling on top of the world. The cartels will always supply since the don't oppose death and can't be cowed by threatening phone calls from 30 year old white women.

I can think of a few cases where i would really like to be part of the squad.
"This POS rapist, pedophile, murderer may get unlucky and take a few in the gut"
