Yeah, you can see hear her saying that she deserved it. I'd imagine that she's use to being hit and likely won't be the last time. The KO has probably been a long time coming.

He may not need to go. He may be a great guy in 999 ways out of 1000.

He stepped over the line, was corrected, and may be a model husband for the rest of his life. We do not know his actions before or after slapping her.

You are joking right? 999 times out of 1000, I don't murder someone but that one time I did and never did it again so it is ok?

Too extreme? 999 times out of 1000, I paid for my groceries. Do you think the cops or the courts are going to let me go when I steal them that 1 time?

Never an excuse to hit your wife whether it is the first time or the last time. If you ever get to a point where you are going to lay hands on the person you love, you don't love or respect that person enough to be with them. End of story.

I thought we were talking about a dumbass redneck that hit his wife. Not murder or all the other shite you dreamed up. I will try and explain my point better.

It is never OK to hit your wife or girlfriend. We do not know if he was a model husband for twenty five years before and will remain so after. What he did was wrong but it will never happen again. He now knows there is a price to pay for losing his temper with his wife.

Was he a great guy or a dick for all those years? We do not know. We only saw through a small window into any of their existence. Was he drunk or on pain meds from a recent operation? Or was he just an a-hole? We do not know.

It is my guess that he will never put his hands on her again whether they stay together or not. His treatment of her in every other way over a period of years should be taken into account.

Do not misunderstand. What he did was wrong.

I see this all the time - domestic abuse charges filed, two weeks later requests to dismiss. Our D.A. won't - makes them plead or he takes them to trial if he has to subpoena the victim into court.

frick, I hate a man who hits a woman (absent the most exceptional circumstances).

That depends. Who did the recording?

Maybe the kid started the camera rolling so the cops could see what really happened.

Raised right?

Agree - terrible situation when a 15 year old has to punch out his step-father.

Some white trash father showed up at a middle school here (where his daughter attends) starts asking the kids outside what grade they were in. They didn't answer, since they are told not to talk to strangers. They guy threatens to "beat their arse." Coach hears, chases the guy and he's caught. When searched he has six knives, two shotgun shells and two bullets.

In 2008, this same guy was beating up his wife when a Marine came up and intervened. He stabbed the Marine, almost killing him. The Marine's friends disarmed the guy and beat his arse.
