Last Tuesday I went to Taco Bell since they had the free dos Doritos tacos. When I got to the window I asked if their card machine would reach the window. They freaking loaded me up with my requested fire sauce (had to use a separate bag) and gave me an extra Dorito taco and an extra regular taco.
Saturday I went to Popeyes and did the same thing. They loaded me up with honey and hot sauce in addition to an extra wing. I ordered the two piece white with fries.
These people don't want to touch your stuff any more than you want them to touch your stuff. Both the Bell and Popeyes chicks seemed very happy to find out that the machines would hang out the window a couple feet.
The Popeyes chick really lit up. She will probably be a vice president at corporate because of me.

Fast food restaurants don’t just give away free food without approval from the manager. If they did that would be theft.
If they gave you extra sauce or honey that’s not food.

If they don't reach the machine out the window I would tell them for safety purposes. No guarantee of free food but still better than the alternative unless they change gloves after every customer - which they don't.

Even with Ree’s reply to your post I am lost as to where the free food comes into play? I guess because he’s being considerate and swiping his own card they are being nice and tossing him an extra wing or something? That’s all I got.
