How much would it cost those states to deal with these refugees? Seems like a money saving issue.

All these governors did was send immigrants to people who said they were welcome.

They should all be turned around if they are coming here illegally. Not passed off to different states because muh politics.

The vetting and security at the border has been a major issue for years and has been handled poorly by both sides for years. But you won't admit that will you?

Progressives don't want that, you must have been asleep the last 10 years.

Why do you have a problem sending immigrants to one of the wealthiest enclaves in the country where they said illegal immigrants were welcome?

I'm never embarrassed to disagree with hyperbolic e-posters. What's embarrassing is you not being able to see any nuance in any situation that negatively affects your side.

Because I don't agree with immigrants coming here illegally.

Explain the nuance.

1) Progressives establish sanctuary and welcome immigrants.

2) Governors remove immigrants from not good conditions and send to a wealthy enclave that has said they welcome illegal immigrants.

3) Is cheaper to charter a plane than pay perpetual welfare.

What nuance do you want to discuss?

The Biden administration has been flying and bussing illegals all over the country, including thousands to FL alone. As I understand it, governors don't have the legal authority to deport anyone. It has to be done by a federal agency - none of which are going to deport these people.

So, a governor who has no ability to deport the people that the federal govt dumped in his state without his consent sends a handful of said people to one of the wealthiest, and by their own admission, tolerant/welcoming/compassionate zip codes in the US, and he's the bad guy.

Everyone on the left says FL is basically a racist nazi state but then they're upset that their beloved illegal brown people are shipped to one of the richest and liberal/accepting places on the planet and all of a sudden they deploy the national guard at a 3 to 1 ratio because it's a "humanitarian crisis".

You just can't make this shite up.

Using people (whatever their situation is) to prove a point is pretty low. I don't care what political views you have.

Does anyone remember way back when the "homeless crisis" was the cause du jour? Rush had just broken onto the scene and Martin Sheen - the honorary mayor of Malibu - had declared the town a homeless sanctuary or haven. Rush chartered several buses to haul homeless up there. The reaction was exactly what you'd expect.

Surprisingly, the libs were aghast

Flying to and staying in Martha's Vineyard is, beyond any shadow of a doubt, the most luxurious and enjoyable part of these people's trip to the US. And that's not even debatable.

That is a sanctuary city that said illegals were welcomed there. Why is it “using people” to send them to locales like this that want them? Seems like a win-win for everyone, especially the illegals.

Do you understand politics at all? I don't think you do.

Its always divisive and contentious.

I get your point though. Sending people to a city that claims to welcome them, in one of the richest areas of the country is a human disaster, just not for the people you think it is.

I'm not debating that. Simply stating a fact, these illegal aliens (yes that is what they are) were put on a plane and sent to a specific location as a political stunt. Its embarrassing that any politician would do this. I get it, some states have to deal with the issue because of proxy, its just trashy as hell in my eyes.
