You are obviously correct.
The only practical application for laser sights as far as Special Ops is in conjunction with night vision gear in a completely dark situation that would make irons or traditional optics awkward to use.
Think Zero Dark Thirty.
Outside of that type of situation, Special Ops or even regular guys are not gonna be using laser sights.

I’m willing to bet the shooter came from a single parent home.

You're right, I guess you know more than SOCom operators and USMC infantryme
SOCOM operators use laser designators that cost thousands of dollars that can’t be used unless you have NV. Your talking apples and oranges in comparison. The stuff they use can’t be seen with the naked eye.
Carson knows his shite and he is correct. Lasers on pistols are dumb and real shooters don’t use them.

Where is that thread on the Jaxnville gaming shooting?

So it’s not helpful for the average person who rarely shoots and has a gun in the house for self defense purposes?
And let’s say it’s very dark in the house. Not talking about someone with enough practice to have muscle memory

That chart is hilarious, you realize the data they are showing is purposely skewed right? They are just cherry picking countries to compare us to
That said, anyone arguing that guns don't need to be harder to get is crazy
If I'm not mistaken, the US leads all developed countries in guns per capita and it really isn't close. Cherry picking or not, it's a frick ton of guns. I believe the US owns 42% of civilian guns in the world.

SHOOTER IDENTIFIED AS DAVID KATZ
From Baltimore
There goes a key talking point, considering Maryland has strictest gun laws in nation.

someone with no experience is not going to be looking for the laser when their adrenaline dumps. they instinctively point and shoot (usually with their eyes closed
good gimmick product with absurd markup.

For some reason, his looks remind me of Adam Lanza the Sandy Hook shooter. He definitely has a similar haircut and crazy eyes.

Did he drive to Jacksonville with his gun?
Regardless, David Katz is white af, so there goes the holdouts wanting him to be Hispanic.
