Right.

Let’s focus more attention on random isolated public shootings that the shooter ends up killing himself or gets caught than we do on the 100’s of murders and targeted hits by gang members and illegals that almost nevet get caught and are repeat offenders.

You think organized religion is the cause of domestic mass shootings?

No. I think the stand your ground, shoot first, gun culture combined with easy access to high capacity weapons, contributes. Pat and like cronies lie about solutions.

Well, that doesn’t fit the narrative. Regardless if it’s gang related, aren’t they people to?

Yes, they are, but the media covers stories that are relatable.

Do we have stickied topics everytime 4 people are killed in another city? The reaction to this thread is a perfect example of why these stories blow up far more.

I'm not suggesting one innocent life is worth more than another, just pointing out why the attention is so disproportionate.

I watched him play Drini not that long ago.

Can't remember if it was on ESPN or not. But some folks around here(or the MSB) have probably watched him play without knowing it.

Speak for yourself.

I go through bad parts of nola all the time.

But I’m NOT there buying or selling drugs either so my chances of survival are much higher.

Random mass shootings are a far lesser issue. You're much more likely to get killed by some thug that lives in your own city.

Just listened to an extended audio of the attack. That shite was crazy. Shooter got in and out in like 30 seconds or less. Wonder how big the room is where it happened?

You don't even know what type of weapon was used. I bet you think it was a high capacity "assault weapon" with a "banana clip".

You're ever less likely to get killed by a terrorist attack, yet those are in the news for weeks.

The amount of coberage a story gets isn't related to how likely it is to kill you. Shocker, I know.

Mental health is such a cop out for shooters. It does hold some truth, but the majority aren’t suffering from mental health.

90% of them are just piece of shite humans.

You are much more likely to get killed by a drunk driver in a car accident than you are by a gun.

Should we get rid of cars or the drunk drivers?

I am very active in the 3-gun, USPSA, and IPSC communities. wanna know how many of those guys use lasers?

0.

Complete gimmick. Made for dorks like this shooter.

ETA: and a red dot =/= laser. Lasers are what I'm talking about - worthless
