I think he was serious. Sucks that the guy died but it's not a bad way to go out. Last thing you ever see is a night game in Tiger Stadium after a day of tailgating.

Out of respect, they should keep that seat empty for the rest of the season or longer.

They can't do that what happens when people say he left to early. He would be called a negatiger. I don't want this for his family and friends.

If it had to happen, I hope it was an LSU fan and it happened right after the go-ahead score.

East Baton Rouge Parish coroner Dr. Beau Clark confirmed the identity of the fan who died at Saturday's LSU-Ole Miss game as 59-year-old Brian Tingley.
Clark said Tingley's manner of death was natural and the preliminary cause of death is related to cardiovascular disease. He had complained of chest pains before the incident.

A spectator died at Saturday's LSU-Ole Miss game, LSU sports information director Michael Bonnette and East Baton Rouge Parish Coroner Dr. Beau Clark confirmed late Saturday.

Bonnette said the fan, an adult male, died of an apparent heart attack and the incident had nothing to do with Tiger fans rushing the field after LSU's 10-7 victory. The fan was seated in the lower bowl of the south end zone.
Clark said the death appeared "natural" and there were no signs of trauma. He, like Bonnette, added the fans rushing the field did not contribute to the death.

Clark said the fan's next of kin has not been notified, so his identity is currently being withheld.

I could think of many worse ways to die. The last thing you see being a game, isn't too bad.

Sec 409
Row 32 or 33

Happened right behind us and just after INT to seal win.

A couple of medical professionals (nurse & doctor) jumped in and performed CPR until EMT got there.

Prayers to family and wife that was with him. Life is fragile and just amazing how soon it can change.

My wife injured her arm throwing her arms up at the moment of the pick...

I can relate.

Cheers, brother...may your heaven be filled with purple and gold.

Some guy,
He just died in the,
swarms tonight,
The win must have gone to his head,
When Bo Wallace stomped away...
