Someone broke into my car

Joke's on them because the only thing of value I had in my car was my car phone charger and maybe $2 worth of nickels and pennies in a cup. Both which were taken of course.
I am more mad about the fact they trashed my car while looking for stuff to steal. They messed up my seat settings, left the passenger seat folded down, didn't put the user manual back or insurance card back in the glove box, didn't put the cover back onto the manual trunk release, and didn't put the spare tire back in its place in my trunk. Took my jumper cables out of the bag and didn't put them back in.
Still contacting building security anyway because I want to know how they got into my car. I always lock it and set the alarm. If we have the perp on video I am definitely filing a police report- would love to see someone get arrested for stealing $2 worth of change.

It was probably a homeless drug addict

Had this happen a few months ago. I just happened to be getting a lot of groceries out of my truck and forgot to lock the door. Some bum trashed it looking for something to steal which I had nothing. My truck is pretty messy tho so it took me a week to get all the mess reorganized and stuffed back in the glove box and console and behind the seat.

I'd imagine most homeless people have committed these crimes or have wanted to but we're just too lazy.
