That's your problem. You're going to have issues the entire time you're there.

Baker address, city of Central. I'm one of (5) 3 acre tracts in a development. I'm hoping once all 5 of us are done building I won't have problems.

When I saw that post had a reply I was hoping it was something like this.

It would be like stealing an Escalade for the scrap value.

Might rig up a blackout game camera in a well hidden area if you can.

If its worth it to you, they also make high price cameras with a module that you can bury to recover pictures and video if the camera is taken or messed with to be inoperable.

That's horrible. Be on the lookout for cheap slightly used av units

Yeah, it's something we really don't think about until it's gone. Just about everything else someone owns in the 2k+ range is a lot more secure. Most AC units are out of sight, so they're easy pickings.

Someone stole your unit because it's the fricking summer, their AC broke, they had no money, and it is fricking hot.

End of story.

It was probably the guy who installed it. My investigation would start there.

man, that sucks balls...unfortunately, it is not all that uncommon. I would mount some game cameras around the place where you can get pics of the license plate of anyone who drives onto the property.

wouldn't hurt to mount a dummy video camera where everyone can see it, too.

I had a roofer steal $6000 and never touched the roof. He's still walking around even after being arrested(and was out in a day). In 6 months, it will be 2 years since he cashed the check....

The system does not care about that. I will never see my money, nor will he ever serve time.

My car was broken into, they stole laptops and other items.... Nothing ever happened.

The SAD fact is that they spend more money trying to find them than the items cost. So they put the petty things on the shelf.

If you filed a report, and there are alot of hits in the area, MAYBE they will, but it's not likely!

Hell, I even have a friend who own a pharmacy... It was broken into and robbed, they haven't caught them!

Well at least you know what type of neighborhood you're moving into.

You need to question every Mexican within a 12 mile radius. Start there. Then move to every African American with a fork lift and a pick up truck within a 20 mile radius.
