Best tap water I’ve ever tasted is from Iceland. Baton Rouge is second best. Switzerland is third best.
Cost of living is cheap compared to the rest of the country.
Most people are generally nice and helpful compared to other states.
If you like to run, it has an amazing running community.

The food scene is underrated
The lakes are a nice walking path
You can’t duplicate LSU Home football or baseball games
If you’re an engineer, it’s a great place to be located
it’s an easy place to make friends And the people are generally kind and open.

Baton Rouge lost the case to deny Georgetown of its Sovereignty.
Baton Rouge is where LSU is.
Baton Rouge is only an hour or so away from Lafayette and New Orleans.
