Just don't look under the body. Many run on kerosene have lesser quality brakes and suspension. But drive and run. Cars then weren't expected to go 100,000 they have more than a few with 10x that.
Did a walking tour of Havana with a professor from the university of Havana and he said those cars are a perfect metaphor for the Cuba today:
built by America, powered by Russia, kept together with Chinese parts, and fueled with Venezuelan oil.

We still need to compare wine notes from Italy. Eight and a half cases arrived at my door after the trip. I need a new wine fridge.
Maybe I need two new fridges. I booked Argentina in March today and I definitely am spending several days in the Uco Valley and Mendoza while there.
Weird about the pics showing up in different sizes on different devices.

You definitely win in terms of bringing wine home, no question. We went a different route and spent our money on food. No wrong answer, all adds up to an amazing trip.

Why are there so many old American cars there?
we were at war, sort of.
they were embargoed.
No shipping from usa.
We got our submissives in Europe and Japan to honor our wrath.
The old cars were already there.
