Some of you folks would blame "boomers" if you stumped your toe.

Millennial here, and while I get the joke, my investment portfolio looks like a warzone at the moment.

Most boomers have likely reduced their stock market risk as they near or neared retirement and should be, in large part, immune to the stock market swings.

Most likely not even an original thought from OP but something they're regurgitating from DU.

Jealousy is not a trait you want to have controlling you life. The Boomer generation had lots of things to overcome, just as the current generations do.

All of the things you mentioned, this older generation already did, and it payed off.

Maybe one day it could for you if you change your attitude.

Dumbass. Boomers are fine. They are in bonds at this point. It's the rest of us that are losing our shirts. Luckily, most of us have time for the market to correct itselfike it normally does.

Not sure if you’re aware of this, most, if not all, boomers are at the age where they should have moved their retirement funds out of stocks several years ago. Hell, I'm Gen X and not that many years away from that same pull back away from stocks in my retirement plan myself.

What a duffus. All money has been out of stock market for a few years. You don't know what a boomer is, obviously;

They can't stand that our generation might reshore the industrial base so GenX and Millenials might enjoy some economic success for once.

So they'll get the chance to roll up their sleeves and get their hands dirty for once in an iron smelting plant?

Boomers are the people who cheered on dropping a nuclear bomb on the future by shutting the economy down during the so-called pandemic that didn’t threaten young people at all.

Their whole mindset can be summed up with “apres moi, le deluge”.

After what I saw from them during COVID, they can all get bent.
