Question.... will it be cooler during the eclipse?
It was here. My kids had to get blankets.

Slightly darker here in central Alabama, but it's also a bit cloudy.

It seems like March/Spring light conditions.

I looked at it for a few minutes with those glasses and now all I see are purple spots everywhere
My eyes hurt as well. I'd recommend quick glances only.

When it reached max here (60%) it was slightly darker outside for sure.

Same. GF walking around with a sweater covering her face cuz she read an old man went blind looking at an eclipse once without glasses. She refuses to look up even with solar eclipse glasses on hahahaha

It definitely looks darker outside than normal for a sunny day at 1:00

What time is this suppose to happen in Baton Rouge? I just look and I can't even see the damn moon.

Seriously? It's already about 25% coverage in BR. I think full (75%) coverage is in 30 minutes or so

I have night vision goggles but it still looks like daytime out here

I just turned on the weather channel and they mentioned LSU. Is anyone else watching it and what did they say about LSU?

It's really cool to watching the landscape grow ever more dim with every passing ten minutes.
The eclipse glasses view of the sun was pretty cool to.
I'm in Huntsville with 97% of the eclipse visible so I expect it to look almost like dusk when it passes completely over. I've heard those about an hour north of me will have it look like straight up night by then.
