my prediction is that the Georgia Bulldogs have a better chance to win the Super Bowl than this neanderthal has of getting a hate crime charge.

Obama's DOJ says they're still trying to unravel the mysterious motives of the Dallas shooter.

This video could take decades to dissect.

I watched an African-American woman on CNN this morning try to explain why hate crimes can't be committed against white people because they are the majority, or cops because they are in positions of authority. She was talking about the shootings in Dallas, making the case that it wasn't a hate crime. She claims people in majorities or positions of power can't be compared to the disenfranchised. I got furious just listening to her. The guy on the panel with her shredded her with a textbook definition of hate crimes.

Sorry. If someone is attacked because of their race, sex, sexual orientation, religion or membership in a group? Solely for those reasons? It's a hate crime. I don't care who commits it.

I totally agree. There should be no "hate crime" charges. But, there are, and the problem is that they're only applied to white people.

Laws now only apply to those who do NOT have any political power. Whatever a Democrat, minority, or mentally ill person (i.e. the sexually confused) wants to do is legal. Whatever a Republican, Caucasian, or conservative chooses to do is illegal, racist, sexist, and all other -ists out there.

That simplifies everything for the current Dis-United State of the soon to be Islamic Nation of America.

Is the perp black? If so, no hate crime.

And THIS is the type of sh*t, which happens more often than anyone thinks, that explains why Blacks are disproportionately profiled because a larger percentage of them think that stuff like this is ok. This stuff is the reason why you see a group of black youths walking towards you and you walk across the street to avoid them. It's not racist to not want to get mugged.

She's right, but she's only right because it was an act of domestic terrorism. But I'm willing to bet she would like that label even less.

Nottinghamshire Police records misogyny as a hate crime

Harassment of women is to be recorded as a hate crime in a bid to tackle sexist abuse.

Nottinghamshire Police said it would expand its categories to include misogynistic incidents.

It means abuse or harassment which might not be a crime can be reported to and investigated by the police, and support for the victim put in place.

What is hate crime?

A crime that the victim or any other person perceives to be motivated by hostility or prejudice towards any aspect of a person's identity.

Police forces in England, Wales and Northern Ireland annually monitor five strands of hate crime:

Disability
Gender identity
Race, ethnicity or nationality
Religion, faith or belief
Sexual orientation

Forces can include their own definition of a hate crime with several recently adding sub cultures.

The term "hate crime" allows LE to charge perps with a heavier charge. They carry higher mandatory fines and jail time, etc. Its a stupid term but its really just to dress up the charges and make them more severe.

I think the DA, not the police, decides on hate crime charges.

same with racism. This has been the bullshite line for years. basically, a bunch of activist academic sociologists attempted to redefine racism to include only those "in traditional positions of power and authority." All dictionaries and reality disagree, but the sheep believe it nevertheless.
