Not only is ADD/ADHD real, and measurable. There are multiple forms which can be observed through SPECT imaging.
This was exactly my point. These people rage over shite they know zero about and its comical. There are 100% determinative scans that can be done to tell if a child is ADHD etc...
I had them done in 1994. This is not anything new.
OT: But doctors just talk to kids and give them pills, give me a break...

Nah man. Same kids can sit in front of a video game for hours, but can’t sit still in class? Complete bullshite. I’d never put my child on those meds

My wife and I said the same thing...
5 years later, after putting them on meds, our kids are still on the honor roll...

I’m not clueless. Based on guidelines its diagnosed via subjective information, causing it to be way over diagnosed.

Anecdotal but I was diagnosed in 2nd Grade or so and placed on Ritalin and I'm still on adderall to this day in my mid 20's. I was a mischievous, smart,and talkative kid. I used to not like the medicine and was only required to take it on weekdays or school days.
I still take it because I absolutely need it. That drive and concentration appears to be something that I just can't find on my own unless its physical exercise based. Its worked out well for my life and I will continue to take it because I will not perform to my best without it.

WRONGGG. You also have to see a child psychiatrist who understand which tests and observations will provide an accurate diagnosis. My diagnosis took over 6 months and I continued monitoring and therapy for a year after. Ignorance?
I've been through it and it was passed to my child (it's even proven to be hereditary, hmmm)
If you have zero experience, that would be the definition of ignorance. Try again.

I’m not a Dr. that deals directly with ADHD testing. I’m a Pharm. D. I understand what the disease is and see people abuse drugs on a daily basis. Pain pils, adderall, the whole nine yards. Its way over prescribed
