I met my wife 17 years ago at a football game. The memory of that night that sticks out to me the most is her smile. I saw her smile first and was immediately hooked. We got to talking and really enjoyed each other's company and decided to continue hanging out.
17 years, a kid, two houses, a dead dog, and one cat later here we are. Still love each other but don't like each other very much.
That's marriage, I guess, though.

When I first met my wife, she only thought as me as a neighbor and a friend and had no romantic feelings for me at first. She asked favors of me and talked and visited me nearly every day. She often ate take-out food with me and my friends. I took her out for dinner in "The Fuzzy Boots Corollary"; however, she thought all of my friends were coming. When no one else showed up she suspected our evening was supposed to be a date. At the end of our first go around after another bad break-up, she confessed she wanted to go out with a guy like me and with that, I asked her out which she accepted. Our date went well though she wanted to take it slow. Afterwards, she gets the idea that I won't date a girl that doesn't have a college degree derailing a second date at that time. And the rest is history.
