Say what you want about zee Zees, but I loved it. When in lived in BR it was the best neighborhood bar. Type of place where if you go often, they know your name and your drink. Kinda like Cheers.

They even bought a bottle of Knob Creek and kept it below the counter for just me bc I always asked for it.

But I can see how people don't like it if they went once or twice a year.

Thats not why dip shite. The decision was made a while back. I don't blame them for mailing it in and serving you a soggy sandwich.

Damn. My brothers band would play shows at Chelsea's..

Wonder what they're replacing it with.

I guess we can widen the interstate now, since one of the main arguments was we could not disrupt these fine establishments.

Kevin got his marching orders around early November and he left right around Thanksgiving.

Not sure if Riley owns both Zee Zee and Chelsea property.

Their food sucks, maybe that's why they decided to close. You must be a waiter there.

Times change. Much more competition now days. Owners find different opportunities or just get tired. I liked both those places 15 years ago.

I went to Chelsea's a few times to see Captain Green. I wasn't that crazy about the place but it does suck to lose one of the few places in BR that would book non-cover bands. I hate that about the music scene in BR. I wonder if anywhere else will pick up the slack.

Especially with douchebags like Walk Ons trying to take everything over. As if BR needed more shitty restaurants/bars

Oh wow, that leaves the Spanish Moon as the sole surviving local music venue that doesn't book cover bands.

Never thought I'd see the day.

What are you even talking about ? Manship and Red Dragon don't book cover bands and the varsity probably presents tribute acts time to time but hardly specializes in cover bands
