We used to have a counselor like that. Students would get to the middle of their senior year before he pointed out they were missing a class in order to graduate. Now we have two new ones that we stole from a really high performing district and they are so awesome.

instead of ruining the graduation ceremony, she should have done like any normal kid would have done and recorded her ramblings on a cassette tape.

Wait...can we get the political leanings of this student? Not sure if I should just blindly scream "snowflake" and make SJW comments. OR if this is an honest American standing up for their rights. I don't want to read the facts. Just need to know liberal or conservative.

They were pretty good for hooking up with the principal and FB coaches at the school I once worked.
One also called the wrong student and congratulated them on being valedictorian. When the error was found out, the school didn't have the heart to break it to the wrong student so they declared "co-valedictorians"
