Sorry brah, I have a daughter this age, There is a huge difference in maturity between these ages, No one is saying we can’t stop stuff that is out of our control but I will in the hell sure try.

Again, it's not a binary decision. It certainly could be inappropriate, but theres no way for anyone other than the OP to know.
