I believe the point is that these 24 were arrested after the fires began during strict fire bans
but all of these fires were almost certainly started by humans or equipment, whether deliberately or not

Yes, and the point is these arsonists helped start fires in other areas. I mean the fires didn't just start in one location and spread. They were started in multiple locations over time.
Which crewdepoo knows, he just wants to continue on with his HERP DERP FOX NEWS thing.

Yea, since the fires started.
It would be kind of hard to arrest people for starting fires before they start fires

You read Fox News. There’s nothing to say to you.
Do you have the same opinion of people who read/watch MSNBC, CNN, WaPo, etc?

Yes...
do any research into the cause of wildfires and every single source will tell you that the majority of wildfires are caused by humans or human equipment with the rest being caused by lightning
so if someone is blaming the start of the fires on climate change, then that person is a moron and shouldn't be taken seriously

and I don't know what morons are blaming the start of the fires on climate change (probably no one), but the current climate in Australia is certainly aiding the spread of the fires, that much is just fact
There are plenty blaming it on climate change, and Australia’s climate has always been dry and desert-y, it’s not some new phenomenon.

Bunch of fringe nut jobs running with this. No bias on the reporting at all. Nothing to see here

right...Australia has a fire season, but the year they have a particularly bad drought due to a positive IOD

I'm sure you could find some retards on twitter blaming the start of the fires on climate change but spontaneous fires are extremely rare the vast majority of all of these fires are either human or lightning caused you can, however, find plenty of people blaming the spread of the fires on climate change
Cause of spark: most likely humans
Cause of spread: climate change

How exactly?? Australia is essentially a desert and its the middle of summer there.

Cause of spread: Australia is dry as hell and has a season titled “Fire Season”

How is every inconvenient weather phenomenon to happen now automatically linked to climate change even when it makes zero sense??

do y'all really believe this?

Imagine being so unhinged that you deliberately do something to affect the climate in order to make people think that the climate is changing.
Is that the intent here? I honestly don't know.

not all of Australia is a desert
much of these fires are currently in the Blue Mountains, which are quite temperate

The climate is changing. That is a fact.
The cause of the climate change is the only thing up for debate.
People can't separate those two things in their head for some reason. They assume someone saying the climate is changing is someone blaming oil and gas. The inability to distinguish the two statements is a sign of low intelligence.
It is a scientific fact the climate is rapidly changing at a rate we haven't seen in modern human history. That could be caused by the natural progression of the planet, which has gone through several massive heating and cooling periods, or it could be caused by humans being assholes, or maybe some sort of combination of the two.
This post will be downvoted because people won't read past the first bolded sentence and they will do exactly what my post says they will do.
