The scariest part of all of this is how Biden is successfully selling "Bidenomics" as a success.

I won't rehash the anecdotical, but in 2019, my average AMEX bill was $3670. Groceries, gas, eating out, clothing, just day-to-day spending outside mortgage and utilities.

So far in 2023, my monthly average is ~$5500 and I feel like we are trying to cut back a little.

I dont see how those on a fixed income are making it. My wife's grandmother has spent through about $20k in savings in the last couple years.

A strange thing happened between the end of 2019 and 1/20/21 when Biden became president. There was a bad flu break out and the world lost its mind and politicians on both sides of the aisle ran a footrace to see who could give away the most money with the least amount of audit trail. We are now paying for that give away.

People don’t cook at home like they used to. Also why everyone is fat nowadays.

Back in the 1980's there was a "garbologist" who studied trash. He wrote a paper of scientific research that I feel sure maybe 10 people read but it was fascinating. The part in his research that was most interesting is that the poorest people in the study and the richest people in the study ate the same thing and the folks in the middle ate something else.

Rich & Poor ate home cooked fresh foods. The poor because it was the cheapest at the time and the rich because they had the staff to cook for them.

Folks in the middle ate fast food and processed food (frozen food) that were already prepared and MOST unhealthy do to poor dietary ingredients sacrificed for convenience.

Fast forward to now and obesity has skyrocketed as most everybody has moved to fast food and processed food.

Just something to think about!

Biden's 1st day in office signing the most executive orders in the history of any POTUS in any single day destroying future O&G investments proves otherwise. Then what does he do on Day 2? He instructs his entire cabinet (Yellen, Granholm, Cecilia Rouse, Psaki et al) to claim that inflation was only transitory, and that the way to combat it is to get vaccinated. They spent the entire year of 2021 claiming inflation was just temporary and to please ignore it as it will pass. But the Left never takes responsibility for jack shite, it's always the fault of J6, abortion, tweets, Orange Man, or any other deflection even when the buck stops with them.

Corporations made record profits last year, they have to increase those profits this year to satisfy infinite growth. The easiest way to do that is increase prices. Then everyone gets a nice big bonus check and the ceo keeps their job.

That record profit becomes the new baseline that must be surpassed next year.

When did corporations ever NOT seek profit? Why is it magically different now, commie? How is it that all problems come down to profit-seekers that make goods/services and you hold your tongue for any and all judgment against the people who make millions doing absolutely nothing at all (politicians).

How do you think those politicians are making millions doing nothing?

Dude, you posted a lot of words that focus on the short term and ONLY the other side. Step back, take a deep breath, and see the entire forest and not just that pesky tree!

Are you 12?
Are you so far down a conspiracy rabbit hole?
Are you not looking at a single simple graph?

If you want to fix it now

BLAME BOTH SIDES EQUALLY and except a starting point of 1980 and plan accordingly. The more BOTH side blame each other the more likely it will be Mutually Assured Destruction and the end of the United States as a super power.

WAKE UP!

STOP reciting regurgitated word vomit and research truth (long term)

We are heading to a Depression that will make the 30's look like a "slight dip"
We will not recover until we replace "Us vs Them" with "We" the people

Do you even study actual history any more?

Its different now because they have convinced people (via buying up the media companies people consume) to blame everyone but them. They claimed the price increases were due to inflation, yet research proved that was bullshite, they are increasing their margins.

But it works on people like you who will defend them for doing it.

Exxon made $14.3 billion in profit in 2019, they made $55 billion in profit in 2022. Those inflated costs of doing business are really hurting them

It is simpler than that ...

Up to 1980 (numbers rounded to simplify)

Corporations still had founder holders (skin in the game)
Cash after Expenses and Taxes
25% to Management (all levels)
25% to Labor
25% to Investors
25% to Research & Development and Property, Plant, and Equipment

This was a sustainable long term model!

Since 1980, short term executives with no skin in the game (just zero cost options)
Cash after Expenses and Taxes
80% to Management (Executive level only)
20% to Lower management, Labor, Investors, R&D, and P,P, & E

This is not a sustainable long term model!

While it is factually correct to spread blame around it is also important to remember that Statism in general aspires to creating these conditions. Our pain is a victory for those who think government is the source of wealth. We are living in an era where individual liberty and everything that it implies is being repudiated in favor of State solutions. What we are experiencing is the State in Full. Very few people in Washington have any sympathy for our plight and in fact have outright hostility towards us for bringing it up.

That's because they are bought and put in those offices by the corporations benefitting from these record profits.

Go look up who paid for your Republican and Democrat candidates' campaigns in the senate/house.

They are doing the job those companies are paying them to do. The problem is that idiots keep voting for this thinking their D or R candidate is gonna try to fix it.

The word I believe you're looking for is accept (I know, English can be a little tricky). You are a clown with this 1980 baseline bullshite that you lifted from some outdated textbook.
