My soon to be wife teaches in a very poor high school which is also turning darker and darker if you know what I mean. Well the things she tells me she has to put up with is just astounding to me. most of the behavioral issues stem from a broken home with parents and in most cases a single parent not giving a shite what the kid does. Not to mention the administration is scared shitless to expel kids because of the "racial backlash" they may get. There's kids getting caught having sex multiple times on campus who don't even get detention more/less expelled. Most of the parents think the teachers should be held reliable to teach them personal and social ethical standards and that's just not the case. It's an issue that won't be fixed anytime soon because of the PC age we live in.

This is part of the problem. Keep that Ginger kitty in your pants.

The inner city schools in NOLA are beyond out of control and have been for a long time. Anytime you have full time nurserys at high school for the babies of the high schoolers you got a problem.

My wife runs a high end daycare. Last year she had to kick out a two year old because he was calling his teacher a motherfricker. Kid lasted a day and a half.

Kind of hard to solve the problem when anytime you try to address it you're just called a racist.

She will be psychological damaged goods within months. After she quits, depending on what she does next, she'll learn to value Metairie, the Northshore, or whatever suburb they live in. Teachers from outside Nola learn faster than anyone else in the world what baloney the SJW propaganda is.
Good tidings on her journey.

It's going to be a huge adjustment for her in the culta that is NOLA.

The one positive of going to a NOLA school is if you can read, write, or spell up to your grade level, you are already in the top 25% of your class.

It all starts in the home. The 30 year old grandmother being the sole care taker of the kids just doesn't cut it. Its a vicious cycle that will never be broken until some self accountability is taken.

My wife, who is a teacher, got a job in the Houston area when we moved here. She ran into the same type of behavior too. The last straw was when a 3rd grader picked up a chair and threw it at her. That was her last day.

It's because the parents don't give a shite and don't put a value on education. Why should they though? Have a kid, drop out, get a check. It will be an endless cycle until the black community actually starts giving a shite about their children and their education.

ETA: My wife teaches at a "charter" school in NOLA East and she has had a 4th grader get shot in his house by a stray bullet, a 3-4th grader brought a gun to school because his dad told him to always carry a gun, an 8th grader threatened another kid with a gun via snapchat, she was grazed by a parent's car during drop off duty, and those are just a few of the stories from a three year career in teaching in New Orleans

Then there is the old belief that kids of cultcha don't believe in starting school till after Labor Day, when they casually stroll in.
Doesn't the school year in some parts of the country start after Labor Day?

My wife retired early because of the changes going on. When I was a kid my parents respected teachers and it was always my issue when there was a problem.
That's not the case in today's world.

It's sad that a very large portion of the black community just wants to point the finger at the white man and place blame for their self inflicted problems instead of looking in the mirror. They claim to be "woke" but they are not even close to being awake, what a fckn joke. They can start being awake by using proper fricking English for that stupid saying "stay woke".

Kids like the above won't care about what you have to say once you set any sort of limit on them.

My GF teaches Pre-K and this is not a major shock to me. The stories I hear are insane.
