their ice cream machines are always broken. What's up with that?
Was lazy, went for lunch, wanted to use my free McFlurry coupon... NOPE
$15 an hour and too lazy to clean the damn machines is more like it.

They give out those coupons to suck you in but they keep the machines off deliberately, so you have to buy other shite. It's one of their sleazy marketing gimmicks, and I heard this from a guy who owned a couple of those shitholes in Spokane, WA.

Having worked at a Sonic during school, I can attest that those types of ice cream machines do have consistent issues.
Although I have known some employees to lie to customers to avoid having to do extra work.

For whatever reason, McD doesn't operate those machines. They contract it out to a third party.

Went to get an Oreo McFlurry and they gave me back soft serve with the Oreo poured on top. Asked her why it wasn't mixed and she said they don't do that anymore because it gets everywhere.
