I avoid places where trash people congregate (trashy restaurants, trashy bars, general trashy areas of Chattanooga)

I also ignore a lot of people. I have stuff on my mind: topics I’m interested in, my plans for the day/week/month, theories I’m working on, family, etc. If you have some interesting shite to say then I’ll make time, otherwise i’m not concerned with you. Over the past few years I’ve made an effort to get better at actually acknowledging more people I work with. I manage projects so it might be good to build rapport with more people. Aside from that I just ignore most people. You do you. I’ll do me.

Everyone is someone else's trash. While people here are trying to protect their delicate sensibilities, other people are avoiding them.

Ignore the trash and don’t make eye contact with the trash that have nothing to lose or look forward to in life.

Trash are gonna be obnoxious...that’s the essence of trashiness. Not respecting others.

Trashy behaviour that doesn’t affect others, in my ken, is harmless. We’ve all got certain aspects that others disagree with, but as long as they aren’t shoved in others faces, it’s none of their business.

Likewise being offended by others doesn’t give you certain rights...we live in a world with others we don’t agree with...that’s just reality.

But when it crosses that line...when it’s more
Than just an annoyance, when they break the unspoken wall and start violating you or your people’s peace...then it needs to be met with appropriate force.

TL;DR

Don’t start none won’t be none

I enjoy watching people have a good time. The OT is full of really uptight young folks. They're gonna be miserable when they are older

One reason the 70s and 80s kicked arse, people weren't so uptight and didn't over think everything.

I let it out in the car when I'm by myself. I'll say anything and everything (to myself) when someone catches my attention/annoys me on the road. My life would be ruined if someone bugged my vehicle on a random wednesday.

I also have no problem with someone else doing the same thing to me. I think we should all be able to look down our noses at each other.

If it doesn’t twist my arm, pick my pocket, or affect my family, I don’t have much issue with it

How about learning how to defend yourself and stop being such a digital bitch. Instead of “dear facebooking” or instagramming “mean memes” or whatever the frick you queers do. Try kicking some arse!
