Don't let nurse see that. My twin bro didn't have his first child until 38 years old my nephew is hell on wheels. Let's just say I am glad I had my 3 kids in my early 20's.

18-23 is college age. Still in college at age 27? If you are a doctor or getting a PhD, sure, but otherwise that is way too old. I graduated college at 21 and grad school at 22.

I wasn't serious. It was harmless flirtation.

I get it. I bet she has reflected on that word "middle age" many times even though you were joking.

My father is 71 and still works and has more get up and go than the 21 year old we just hired.

27 is college aged? Your arse better have been in the military or a doctor if you still in college 9 years after high school.

Just turned 45 and I still feel young but I will admit turning 40 sucked and now that I am getting closer to 50 I realize how life flies by , to all you youngsters 28 is closer to 40 than you think ....
this.....I'm 49 and it feels like yesterday that I was hanging out with all the guys.. That's another thing is you will not have time to see all your friends...you'll be too busy watching grandkids ......

Agree with this one. My dad was 38 when I was born and I got the "I'm too old to do ______ now" many times.

Old is after high school, get over yourselves thinking one of those groups is less old than another one.

I'm 74 - I guess that's old by any standard, but I still feel young enough to do the things I've always enjoyed.
