Go listen to Pardon My Take. They have Dr. Anthony Fauci on today (short guy who speaks at every White House Press Conference). Very informative and lots of this country could benefit from listening and heeding this advice

I hope you are right, but I'll use the numbers from the experts over random guessing. Fauci is standing next to Trump every day. They want people to take this seriously and reduce panic as much as possible. If Dr. Fauci thought that number was below 1%, he'd be saying it. Instead, he's acknowledging the number is actually 2% or higher, but he's stating he feels that it will be closer to 1% when it's all said and done.

The mortality rate of swine flu was significantly lower. We now have more cases of Covid compared to H1N1 over the same time period: meaning from first positive case of each to this number of days and more deaths per case. H1N1 had a mortality rate of .02% in the US, Covid is currently at 1.6% in the US. 60.8MM people got H1N1 in the US, if that many people get Covid-19 the death-toll will be pushing 1MM people.

200,0000 people would have the swine flu by now, and 10,000 deaths (in the US)
The mortality rate in the US for swine flu was .02%, if 200,000 people got it we'd have 40 deaths.
