flooding really bad, and more rain a coming.

Did you experience the great flood of 1993? That was some real flooding.

The Great Mississippi and Missouri Rivers Flood of 1993 (or "Great Flood of 1993") occurred in the American Midwest, along the Mississippi and Missouri rivers and their tributaries, from April to October 1993. The flood was among the most costly and devastating to ever occur in the United States, with $15 billion in damages.

Some locations on the Mississippi River flooded for almost 200 days, while various locations on the Missouri neared 100 days of flooding.

Here in Ne Florida we need some of that rain, we are very crunchy. Fires burning up and down the state.

It goes from hot, to crazy windy, to chilly. Worst allergy season I can ever remember. Just madness.

These last couple days in Chi have sucked. I had Cubs tickets yesterday, it was rainy and windy well past 7pm, in the 40s (felt like 41), so at 7:45 I said eff it, we're not going to the game. It was a sunk cost at that point and they ended up getting slaughtered anyway...so I guess the right call.

Today is cold and gray. Shitty.

My uncle used to travel to Chicago on business regularly. He got good at dodging ice falling from the buildings.
