I had to contact the National Vessel Documentation Center about an issue and their phones are not being manned during the shutdown.

Took all of my vacation this week, I just started this job a few months ago so I haven’t accumulated that much, so starting next week I won’t get paid. I still have a relationship with my last job, so I just plan on working for them until I go back to work. Hopefully I can fill the gap.

Honestly they should completely shut it down for it to have any affect. Lock the VAs, gate the national parks, shut down the airports.
