For the vast majority of people, "cancel culture" was never bad on principle. It was bad because it was people on their side losing their jobs. Now that the consequences are being felt by people on the other side, it's fine and you're going to get some dishonest equivocating about how it totally isn't "cancel culture" anymore.

It certainly can be.

But not all cases.

But my point is using their same tactics that we shamed for years.

Hypocrisy is disgusting.

Holding people accountable for vile things that goes against their employment contracts is in no way the same as what the left did for years. Not even close.

But by all means, keep trying to equate them.

since this thread is all about hypocrisy….

George Flyod

how many riots, how many buildings burned down, how many stores looted, how many innocent civilians harmed?

You’re also showing just how pathetic and petty a man you are for the use of “St Charlie”. Go frick yourself.

Cancel culture is a tool Team Blue and Team Red use whenever they hold power. It is what it is. Remember the Dixie Chicks? This kind of stuff didn't start in 2020, although Team Blue really turned up the dial then.

am far from the left. We have the same views most likely (you and I), I just don't believe in being a hypocrite when it comes to cancel culture.

This is not cancel culture you fricking dumbass. Cancel culture is going back 10 years and looking at someone’s tweets then trying to ruin their life because they quoted rap lyrics. Anyone trying to equate what’s happening now is slapdick retarded. It’s about time the left be held accountable for reprehensible behavior

This lawsuit language… it’s like your Muslim boss firing you for celebrating the death of Bin Laden… what’s exactly in a normal employee-employer relationship that says you can’t

You really don't see the difference in why they were "cancelled" vs the ridiculousness of conservatives being cancelled in the recent past?

Celebrating the murder of a father with 2 little kids under the age of 4 makes you a POS. Being a POS has consequences.

You're incorrect, and your knowledge of business is weak.

Companies have wide latitude in terminating employees that express extremely controversial views in a public space, especially when they can be easily affiliated with a company or public entities.

Celebrating the murder of a public figure is not illegal, but it will get your dumb arse fired and there isn't a dann thing you can do about it.

It doesn't matter which side of the aisle you're on, no company wants to hear or see that crap

We're in business to make money, not coddle some whining pantywaists.

George Floyd was objectively a complete piece of shite human and yall expected the world to shut down to celebrate him.

So you've now tried to equate CK to St George and Bin Laden. I bet you're baffled why you're losing the culture war
