How many times are they going to trot this out? I'm old as hell and I've been hearing the "hurr durr Jesus was brown" thing my whole life. That and its close relative "Jesus was a socialist!"

I'm not even a very religious guy but do people seriously think the only reason Christians believe is because they think Jesus was white? Like now a bunch of Evangelicals are going to turn atheist or something?

Listen. I dont care one bit one way or the other but this statement always confuses me.

Right. The point of the post is that the intellectual elite is linking Christianity with racism. Jesus was from present day Israel. And frankly it doesn’t matter what color he was.

They are white, no doubt, but Jesus didn't look like that back in the day. We don't know what he looks like, just go off of bias from what we've been shown. He would certainly not be white, white.

Jesus was middle eastern descent and most all ethnicities have portrayed Jesus in a way that can relate as such.

Yeah all the little white jewish guys running around 2000 years ago in Jerusalem.......
