The Eastern Diamondback Rattlesnake is native to Florida and the best thing to do when one is spotted is to give it space and let it leave the area, according to FWC.

Oh I figured he'd just pick it up and place him on the side of the road..

Got some monsters there. My uncle RIP had a big one on his property in SW Mississippi. Almost 7 feet. Don't think they get to 10.

I think I’d let that one go about his business.

Saw one about that big on the side of the road in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia in 2000.

Isn't the Eastern listed as the deadliest snake in North America?

I remember a story on the OT a couple of years ago where some AZ dude ran over a snake, backed over it and ran over it again and then went to pick it up and it bit him. Just running over a snake at some point along their body doesn’t seem too smart. Smush the head maybe.

Wow that is a big rattler. I hope no rednecks do any harm for no reason to it.

Probably. The Mojave is a bad dude with both neurotoxic and hemotoxic venom.

Probably not an Eastern Diamondback if that's where you saw it. Probably a big Timber.

Not mountains. Around the Black Belt for sure and the coast.

I don't know I've seen one for certain on our land in Boligee, AL, but a couple of years ago I came across a rattler turkey hunting that looked way too big to be a timber. Gives me chills thinking about it because he was pretty damn close to where I was going to sit and it hadn't been light too long

I do that as well....if you slap them hard with the flat side, they don’t try to get away or bite you....you are then free to decapitate.

I never realized their range included some of Louisiana. Anyone ever seen one in this state? I've only seen a few timber rattlers in the wild.
