Now somebody in public, in society, please tell me where that was not murder."

If this is even close to how it went down, the guy deserves to be put away forever.

so we have video from one merchant ( i think juans burrito) is there any chance once they made the left hand turn that any of the merchants down said street had surveillance cameras rolling to show the actual altercation. if so, would those be made public relatively soon?

No doubt. I've had a gun in my vehicle plenty of times.

I just think it's funny that Hayes and his friend were up to no good riding around with a loaded gun, meanwhile Smith and his friends were doing the exact same fricking thing but they were just enjoying a night out on the town.

I'd be shocked if there isn't more video footage.

Could be said of both sides. The attorney for the defendant is only going to put out the information that shows his client in a positive light while leaving out the negatives.

I know, Captain Obvious.

I'm not going to criticize Smith's father's comment, just like nobody should criticize what the friend of the Hayes said (although he was actually at the scene).

Every description of events has been biased.

I'm not suggesting that Smith Sr's, story is accurate. I'm saying that if it is, the shooter deserves to be put away forever.

well of course. Just like hayes buddy with him said hayes "saved their lives" Anyone with any emotional attachment to the situation is going to be biased. Only things im going by is video evidence, witness accounts, and what the police release right now.

This is one of the things that has bothered me from the beginning. How do you chase "Smith or Impala??
And now since the videos have come out, the Impala is nowhere in sight!

Agreed. It's still early in the investigation and the NOPD appears to be proceeding with extreme caution as far as information goes. Of course, they're building a case so we aren't going to get most of the information gathered for some time.

Travers Mackel reported that there is a business that caught the entire altercation

Well if that's true then it'll probably answer the majority of the questions that remain. However, I'm not holding my breath on that coming out in the near future. Could be weeks or months before that gets released.

I think he's referring to the Half Moon's video.
