Hayes fricked up instead of just getting the licence plate number to tell the cops, he escalated the incident. No justification to shoot Smith in the back.

Still not a reason to chase Smith, rear end him, and shoot him to death.

I don't think anyone would argue otherwise, up until that point

I don't know why Hayes stopped where he did either. However, it isn't a quick stop

It doesn't look like a brake check, but I do find it odd that he stopped that abruptly so far before the light.

How? Unlawful, yes. But I don't see how that's aggressive.

What if, IF, Smith was in fact reaching for a gun?

If that happened it will be interesting to see what happens

Zimmerman followed a kid, which escalated a situation, after being asked not to follow, then was able to get off due to "fearing for his life"

Which 95% of this board agreed with

Why was he stopping 30ish yards before the light?

Are you serious? There was absolutely no damage to dipshits Hummer. He had to be a huge a-hole. His sorry arse didn't even check for damage. I hope that sorry motherfricker enjoys Angola.

if someone rear ended you and then took off, do you stop and check for damage before chasing or just chase to get the license plate?

He was. So what. Will was reaching for it to defend himself. As noted by telling murderer to get out of here

Is it odd that smith stopped way behind Hayes at the previous light? Or am I just over thinking this entire situation?

Wait

The guy who was rear ended and tried to pull to the side of the road is a dipshit a-hole?

Who knows what happened once they had their confrontation, but Smith obviously fricked up in that video. To say otherwise is baffling

And Trayvon martin was punching Zimmerman because he feared the man following him and was defending himself

Some poor choices?

Your family member is going to be in jail for the rest of his life because of "some poor choices" I hope all of it was worth it.

overthinking. it actually looks like normal stopping distance.

i think it gives Hayes a clear reason to be upset. I bet his night was normal and he was perfectly calm before that. I think its pretty fair to say most people would be upset if that happened to them.

As far as I'm concerned, that video does nothing to help Hayes' self defense claim. If anything, that video hurts Hayes more than helps him.

I don't even see a car ahead of Hayes at the light.

My best guess based off those videos is that Hayes thought Smith was getting too close and wanted to give him a warning when coming to the red light. Hence why he stopped pretty abruptly so far before the light. Smith was late to react (reason unknown at this point). Smith definitely tapped Hayes but it was so soft and at such an odd spot, Smith thought it was intentional on Hayes part, so he went around him.

looks like it fricked up his spare tire holder. you can see it hanging to the side at the shooting scene.
