Has apps already on. You can customize as well.

Avoid Samsung as a brand. I have a Samsung Smart TV and it's an expensive piece of garbage.

i got one, but not exactly by choice... i wanted the 4k ultra def, but couldn't find one without the "smart tv" shite....

it seems neat, in theory, and i'm sure for those with ample time on their hands, it's pretty handy, but with a career, a wife, and 2 kids, i just don't really have time to learn what it's all about and then use it enough to justify it, i guess...

i only have Vizio's, as they have just done really well for me since i've started buying TV's, but Samsung is one of the better ones out there....

LG is the brand i'm always hearing about being terrible... i just hope they make better refrigerators than TVs

Skip the Samsung. Mine didn't last 2 years.

I'm going back to Sony.

Wut??? You hit the button to pull up the app, click enter, watch hulu/netflix/etc. You may have to sign in the first time so that really got in the way of my career and spending time with my 1 years old. I don't think I once cracked open the user manual and only thing I ever watch that is not on the smart feature is NFL football. And next year, I'm getting the NFL package for 100 bucks a season and will have no use for cable at all.

i was more talking about the time spent in front of the TV than the learning how to use the shite, but i see that's what you decided to go with....

i know it seems archaic, but some of us just want our TVs to be just that... a TV...

Okay. And I watch the same television shows on my TV. I just use the smart app for $9.99 per month instead of paying $100 a month for cable. I'm failing to see what one would "not have time for". If you have enough time to watch a TV show, you have enough time to watch it on the smart TV apps available. It's not some insanely complicated system. See the show, click the show, watch the show. No recording, no time slots, just watch when you want.

How do you watch CFB games on the apps?

Smart TVs are stupid.

Get a tv with the same picture specs, but no WiFi. You'll save $$, and then have Mobile device lime roku or Apple TV you can use on any tv.

With the advent of Amazon sticks and Chromesticks, smart tvs are a waste of money.

Stick with Roku because your TV may not get ESPN's streaming channel. I used it for LSU baseball.

I have a Samsung smart tv and now use Fire tv. Easier to browse and faster. The Sumsung constantly has time consuming updates for the smart tv hub and is glitchy.
