SAN DIEGO (AP) — A small plane crashed into a San Diego neighborhood during foggy weather early Thursday, setting about 15 homes on fire as well as vehicles, and forcing evacuations along several blocks, authorities said.
“We have jet fuel all over the place,” Assistant Fire Department Chief Dan Eddy said during a news conference. “Our main goal is to search all these homes and get everybody out right now."
He said “there is a direct hit to multiple homes" in the Murphy Canyon neighborhood and described “a gigantic debris field."

Root cause: Insufficient altitude.

Looks bad. Hoping for minimal injuries/deaths.

I remember this happened a few years ago in BR. When rescue workers showed up at the scene they discovered this old lady had been growing weed in her backyard and arrested her.

I like Hoover from Pilot Debrief, but I'll check out Juan.

Gavin Newsome just went live and blamed this on Trump's tariffs.

If I get to a place in life where I've got a 550, and can afford a pilot to fly it, they'll wait to catch up with me.
That's a nice, go-someplace airplane.

“What will be already is” or whatever that thread was in which I state entropy happens and sometimes airplanes randomly fall from the sky and kill you.
This is quite horrible and a recurring nightmare I’ve had most my life.
