Someone must have opened their door and hit my driver side door while it was parked. Its about a quarter sized dent and scratch the paint job. Do y'all have any recs on where I can get it fixed? Its not that bad but its a newer car and I want to get it done.

You have your first scratch. There will be more, don’t worry about it

I’m just glad you didn’t type “must of.” I’ll give you a pass on fricking up “their.”

Not sure of your location based on your sig but find a paintless dent repair place and give it a try.

I've had it done to one of my newer cars twice and was very pleased with the results.

Even if they remove 90% of the dent and you still have a paint touch up it can look passable for a daily driver.

A lot of car dealerships has someone come by on a weekly basis to fix small door dings. Call a few of them for suggestions.

Rub a dryer sheet over it while torching it with a blow dryer. It will pop right out.

Love it when people ask for recommendations but don’t tell us where on the planet they’re located.

I used a place by the NO airport, they were great. No idea their name right now. Pointless dent repair.

No point in repairing that. Dents and scratches are expected and more will come.

Your Tesla side camera should have captured the offender.

I stupidly dented the hood on my car by releasing the clutch in the garage (thought it was in neutral, twas not). I took it to the OEM dealer and they fixed it with a 5 year warranty.

Ford Mustang.

Ford dealer repair and paint of aluminum hood.

Four years later, it still looks like new. Could not expect a better repair.

Did not turn into insurance ($1200 repair vs. $500 deductible and potential insurance increase).

No.
frick "giving a pass"!
Why would you even consider that?

If you let it begin, where does it end?
That's how we arrived in our current state!

What's next? MF'ers capitalizing random letters in the title of their subject line?
