Oh, so in other words, textbook LARPing 101. Maybe you can try and sign on as an expert witness for the defense when he goes to trial.

If you haven't seen it yet, there is a video in another thread from the other officer's body cam footage. She actually said she was going to throw it on him, he then responded he would shoot her in the face. And that is when he pulled the gun out. So, his gun was drawn as soon as she made the verbal threat with the pot in her hands.

Actually no, many times these videos are released by the person being arrested. "Code Blue Cam" just reposts videos without commentary.
Attorney Reacts and Audit the Audit typically just react to raw video, although Audit the Audit is definitely slanted against the police.

I totally disagree with the assertion that the officer should retreat. I can't even understand why that would be what we would want officers to do.
That sort of thinking is what leads to Uvalde school shooting situations.

This isn't a great metric. The cops in the George Floyd situation were clearly innocent, but they were also charged and even convicted.

This ain't George Floyd, baw. An equivalent would have been if the gas station employee had called police because they thought Floyd was passing fake money, and when the police showed up they shot the employee in the face.

I have a question I haven't seen posed. Does anyone think this officer might be hyper-religious and went on total tilt when she threw the Jesus rebuke thing out there?
I have seen some people, big church goers, just absolutely lose their shite over religious reference stuff that I considered relatively minor. Especially Muslim's. They will quite literally cut your head off for referencing Allah in the wrong manner.
Has anyone seen that referenced anywhere?

And if you don't trust her, don't go forward looking for a reason to blow her head off. It's not like she had a gun. Or even a pan you can grip and do more with. It's a large pot that I believe required two hands for her to hardly hold.
If there was a gun on the counter (a much greater threat) no way do most cops just push forward. Definitely draw a gun, but give commands there.

What if it was boiling oil, or sugar maybe it’s acid just saying if I suspect someone is throwing a substance on me I would rather shoot first then find out later it’s not some other substance as if getting boiling water thrown on your face and searing your lungs is not cause enough to defend yourself and prevent that from
