Halal and kosher rules will probably forbid eating it, so there's a lot of people right there that are still going to eat delicious animals and until Monsanto figures out how to make a 2 pound porterhouse that tastes as good as a real one and is cheaper, I will too.

Eventually, true. Once we can do it cost friendly, I’d be shocked if ranches and slaughterhouses wouldn’t be shut down. Just a final purge before shutting them down, and that’s that.
