She was working as an observer at an anti-cop AS protest asking cops to protect her from people who were observing the protests. Duh

it was at the moment i realized something about myself. i have never, not once, taken advantage of those free spongees.

The woman in the OP is one of our local white guilt SJW rabble rousers with a serious mental issue. She consistently rails on Facebook about all your typical SJW hot topics and buzzwords. She's mentioned here a lot but the posts always end up getting whacked. I guess it's different this time because she did this in a public meeting.
