Size comparison between 2018 and 1990 Lexus LS sedan

This is one model but I think somewhat fairly represents how cars have increased in size over the years. Or at least the proportions have changed.

The beltline on the new one almost looks 8 inches higher in that shot.

This one isnt that bad. Compare a 90 Accord or 3 series to a 2018. Big body sedans like the LS have always been big, but compact and midsize cars have really ballooned. A Civic is now the same size as the old Accord.
