that's great and all, but they have to do something for them considering they can't give out free beer...that's horse shite. I mean they could do nothing, but that's not exactly going to help the reputation one bit

It's pretty amusing how most people don't know that it was continental that was running United into the ground after the merger. I'm pretty sure the same things would have happened to Continental had they never merged.
As to running out of beer in the club, go to another club in C or E if you're on United. I'm assuming you either paid for a day pass or have access another way, those can transfer between clubs. With a long layover and no beer I would've been out of there a while ago

Wouldn't have happened when it was Continental. Screw United. Terrible airline that stole our nice airline from us and ruined it.
