I just renewed last month for a year subscription at $6/month for the XM Music & Entertainment package (previously known as XM Select).

I was paying $5/month for the past two years, so it went up slightly.

Never get multiple cars on one account, they'll never be able to straighten it out.

If they would just offer everyone $5/mo ongoing without having to call and talk to someone who doesn't under you and you don't understand them, then i would do it.

Also DJs have gotten to where they talk way too much, I pay the fee to apple music, you can download songs for offline use, then just play that in your car,

need to do this as well. Is that $7 a fixed rate or will you be dealing with the same thing in six months?
it’s for a year , it was like $87 with tax. Just tell them your friend is getting $7 a month for a year and if you don’t get the same deal you’re going to cancel your membership

Ive had Sirius XM for around 15 yrs , at times ive been tempted to just go the Apple route, or Pandora, or Spotify- but the main things i listen to on Sirius XM are the sports channels, there’s like a couple dozen of them between espn, Mad Dog sports, Fox Sports et al.. also i listen to a lot of the talk channels like Howard, Faction talk and the like.. occasionally some of the Poltical channels.. i dont know if there is an equivelint amount of high quality options like that outside of paying for Sirius.. the only time i mainly listen to the music channels are on the Sirius app on my phone when im running, or on long road trips..

It’s well worth the $6 or $7 i pay per month , for me at least .

Yeah, as far as I know there aren't any talk stations on apple music. I get my talk from podcasts.

They don’t argue as much to renew. $5/month is the easy plan to get year after year. I cancelled during covid for one car because I never drove it anymore and they send me letters with better deals constantly. The all access isn’t even worth it anymore though.

Correct me if im wrong, but i believe the ‘All Access’ gives you Howard Stern and the Sirius XM app on ur phone.. i get why some people wouldnt care about Howard, but if you have any interest in working out or running or whatever and want the ability to listen to an endless variety of music, to me the all access is worth it for the app alone .

This happened to me when I got XM like ten years ago. Wanted to pay monthly and they just went ahead and charged for the whole year. Gave me the run around when I called and bitched. So I just said frick it, used XM for the year, then bailed. So I guess they got me......assholes

Think about it….someone looks at that check. And it has your name, address, account number, and routing number. Anyone can order checks online with that information and starting writing checks on your account.

I still use checks (not directly, banks send them to billers that can't do an ACH draft) and one key point you are missing is that the check is a signed agreement (which is why you sign it) that the person may take only the amount of money listed on the check, and only once. Someone with your agreement for auto drafting typically has your signature that says they can take it for as long as they want and can change the money at any time.

The "all access" package isn't required to listen on the XM app. The app is included with some of the lesser tier packages now also, including mine.
